Around the House

Several interesting sites bearing the vestiges of the town’s past, are located around the Lumparov House. Right in front of the House one can find the ruins of St. Nickolay Panteleimon Chruch – one of the few extant evidences of the seventy seven churches that once stood in Melnik. Next to the Lumparov House are the remnants of the sadly unrestored  Dekov House where one can still see the family chapel. Large and wealthy houses in Melnik used to have their own chapels.

The balcony at our House offers spectacular views to the little town and to the 12th-century Boyar House.
